University of Bath East Building

Work has begun on the new £9m multi purpose building at the University of Bath; Mann Williams are acting as Civil, Structural and public Health Engineers. Using an almost fully pre-cast concrete structural scheme incorporating 'Termodeck' floor slabs. The design has already been awarded a BREEAM Excellent rating. The dramatic entrance foyer and atrium will include an apparently floating lecture theatre and access gantries suspended within a space enhanced by ETFE foil panels in the roof.
