National Botanic Garden of Wales - Regency Restoration Project
Mann Williams have been appointed as lead consultant for the Regency Restoration Project, an ambitious restoration scheme for the historic landscape surrounding the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
The proposals are based on the 1815 paintings by Thomas Horner, depicting the landscape as designed for Sir William Paxton. The scheme includes a cascade of reservoirs and multiple pedestrian bridges and will require significant restoration to existing historic earth dams, masonry hydraulic structures and new control structures.
