The work begins

The project is currently on site and substantial earthworks and piled walls have been carried out to allow the formation of a two storey basement ahead of the main superstructure. Andrew Scott is carrying out the works with Oliver Connell as the RC frame contractor. The building is predominantly an exposed in-situ reinforced concrete frame with a steel framed two storey pavilion to house a café and social space.

Built on partnerships

The building will feature an open layout to enable joint working to flourish, supporting the school’s core philosophies of ‘engagement, education and collaboration’. The 15,000sqm space will form a new gateway at the University and bring the School of Management together in one building.
