Gorhambury House, Winner at the 2025 Georgian Group Architectural Awards

The restoration of Grade II* listed Palladian villa Gorhambury House won the Award for Restoration of a Georgian Country House at the Georgian Group Awards this November.

Under a design team led by Inskip Gee Architects, the House was repaired and modernized to fit the needs of its owners. We were appointed to assist with the restoration and conservation of the house and the drainage infrastructure. Authenticity and conservation were our guidelines throughout the works to ensure the House lost none of its historic significance.

This played a vital part in Gorhambury House winning this Georgian Group Award, as the prize "celebrates those who have demonstrated the vision and commitment to restore Georgian buildings and landscapes and to create new work in the spirit of the Georgian era across the United Kingdom."
