Westonbirt Pre-Prep School Now Completed
Westonbirt Pre-prep School was officially handed over on Tuesday, April 14th, and is ready to welcome its pupils upon their return from the Easter holidays.
We were involved in this 15-month-long project from the start. Working closely with contractor RJ Leighfield & Sons Ltd, Quattro Design Architects, Greenhalgh Landscape Architecture, and our client Wishford Education, we delivered designs incorporating sustainable practices such as air source heat pumps and photovoltaic panels, and provided ongoing advice as the buildings took shape on site.
Set around a courtyard doubling as a play area, surrounded by Grade 1 parkland and historic trees, the school comprises two buildings with six classrooms, a multiuse dining hall with kitchen and associated staff, modern play equipment, and toilet facilities. The windows and location enhance natural light and ensure pupils enjoy a close connection to the natural landscape.
