Reliable, sustainable designs
Throughout our involvement, we initiated many of the design features, including the hanging and long-span floors, as well as the precast concrete construction. Close collaboration with the architect helped ensure the delivered structure was as robust as it was cost effective.
We also achieved sustainable drainage through the use of a soakaway.
Success and recognition
This project consolidated our teamwork and approach to sustainable new builds within the education sector. Our work on the East Building was rewarded with a BREEAM Excellent rating.
