A major step for Moseley Road Baths
Ahead of the construction phase at Moseley Road Baths, Galliford Try have been appointed as main contractor for the project. This is a major step for the Baths, whose restoration is supported by multiple organisations, from Historic England to the UK Government and many more.
We were initially appointed to carry out a full structural survey and assessment of the building. Subsequent commissions included investigations into corrosion of the steelwork over the basement and deterioration of the spectator gallery’s viewing tiers - both of which remain heavily propped due to collapse risk. We now act as structural engineers for the full Capital Redevelopment Project, currently under way.
